A few years ago I attended to a presentation hosted by someone working for Spotify in Brazil and I asked about the social features in the app. It turns out the presenter told me that Brazil is one of the only countries that want to make everything a social platform, whereas the rest of the world is supposedly not so interested in that. Might have been a wrong assumption
